Role Overview

  • Support the execution of visual merchandising strategy to ensure consistent brand presentation across stores

  • Drive brand image enhancement and sales performance through effective visual merchandising initiatives

  • Lead seasonal visual changes, training programs, store openings, and special activations in alignment with global guidelines

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop Japan visual merchandising strategies together with the Visual Merchandising Manager

  • Execute seasonal VM guidelines and oversee in-store displays

  • Lead and train VM Ambassadors during display changes and seasonal updates

  • Plan and implement training programs to strengthen VM capabilities across stores

  • Coordinate visual presentation for new store openings, remodels, events, and pop-up activations

  • Manage and execute in-store visual updates and merchandising changes

  • Oversee procurement and inventory management of VM tools and materials

  • Collaborate with global VM teams and internal departments within the Japan office

  • Analyze sales performance and incorporate insights into VM execution and planning

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in visual merchandising or related functions within an international environment

  • Fluent Japanese and English communication skills

  • Strong interest in fashion and luxury goods

  • Passion for fashion, branding, and customer experience

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced retail environment

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data

  • Proactive mindset with the ability to independently develop new ideas
