About the Role
The Associate HR Specialist / HR Specialist will support a broad range of HR operations with the goal of developing into a Senior Specialist position over time. This role covers employee support, labor compliance, HR systems operations, training administration, and HR process improvement within a structured corporate environment.
The position requires a proactive HR professional capable of independently managing multiple responsibilities while contributing to organizational initiatives and employee engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Manage onboarding, resignation procedures, and employee lifecycle support
Support leave of absence and return-to-work processes
Coordinate new employee orientation and training administration
Provide support related to employee relations, mental health, and workplace concerns
Support harassment-related consultation and response processes
Operate and maintain HR systems and personnel data management processes
Analyze and utilize employee information to improve HR operations
Support planning and operational improvements for HR systems and workflows
Assist with legal compliance activities including updating internal documents and forms
Prepare employee communication materials related to labor law updates and policy revisions
Explain policy and legal changes to employees when required
Participate in additional HR projects and initiatives depending on experience and organizational needs
Requirements
5+ years of HR or labor management experience within a company of 100+ employees
Broad knowledge across HR operations and labor management
Strong problem-solving and proposal skills related to HR challenges
Experience operating HR systems
Strong Microsoft Office skills including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Ability to independently manage multiple tasks and projects
Proactive and self-motivated mindset with strong ownership and execution capability
Preferred Qualifications
Experience using Jinji Bugyo HR systems
Experience supporting mental health management initiatives
English communication skills
Salary
Annual salary: JPY 5,000,000 – 7,000,000
Final compensation determined based on experience, skills, and previous salary
Bonus included in estimated annual compensation
Working Hours
Standard hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Flexible work schedule available
Core hours: 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM
8 working hours per day with 60-minute break
