Brand Communication & Event Coordinator (Sports Brand)
Overview
We are seeking an Event Coordinator to support brand communication initiatives through both offline and online events
This role focuses on enhancing customer engagement, improving brand experience, and expanding community membership through event execution
The position involves working closely with internal teams and external partners to deliver high-quality, brand-aligned events

Role Details
Location: Tokyo (Head Office)
Employment Type: Full-time / Permanent
Reporting Line: Assistant Manager, Brand Communication
Working Hours: Standard business hours with break included
Holidays: Weekends, public holidays, seasonal holidays
Compensation: Competitive salary up to approx. 6M JPY (based on experience and performance)
Headcount: 1 (new addition)
Key Responsibilities
1. Event Planning & Execution
Support planning and execution of various events, including product launches, educational sessions, and media events
Assist in organizing both online and offline events to enhance customer experience
2. Customer Engagement & Community Growth
Gather customer feedback and reflect insights into event planning
Support initiatives aimed at increasing customer satisfaction and expanding membership programs
3. Marketing & Participant Acquisition
Develop and execute strategies to attract event participants
Collaborate with external vendors and partners to drive event attendance
4. Event Coordination & PR
Coordinate event logistics and manage communication with external agencies (event production, PR, creative, media)
Support PR-related activities associated with events
5. Operations & Administration
Manage event materials and inventory
Handle budgeting processes and expense coordination related to events
Stakeholder Collaboration
Work with internal teams across product categories
Coordinate with external partners including event agencies, creative firms, PR agencies, and media
Candidate Requirements
Experience & Skills
Basic PC skills
Experience supporting or managing events, including on-site operations
Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
Proactive, team-oriented mindset with the ability to adapt in a dynamic environment
Education & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
Valid driver’s license
Language
Native-level Japanese
English not mandatory, but basic reading/writing ability is a plus
Preferred Experience
Experience in customer analysis, CRM strategy, and campaign planning
Data analysis skills (e.g., Tableau, SQL)
Familiarity with analytics tools such as Google Analytics
