A leading multinational consumer goods organization is seeking a bilingual Business Manager / Leader to support executive leadership, governance activities, strategic communications, and high-level stakeholder engagement. Role Overview
This role supports executive management by coordinating governance activities, managing executive meetings, preparing bilingual communications, and facilitating interactions with global stakeholders. The successful candidate will serve as a trusted partner to senior leadership while ensuring operational excellence, accuracy, and confidentiality across strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Executive Governance & Meeting Management
Coordinate and manage executive leadership meetings and governance-related activities.
Prepare agendas, collect and review supporting documentation, and ensure consistency across materials.
Facilitate communication between departments and track action items and follow-up activities.
Support governance committees and board-related operations.
Executive Communications
Draft, edit, and refine executive speeches, presentations, messages, and communication materials in both Japanese and English.
Ensure messaging aligns with organizational objectives, tone, and branding standards.
Review content for accuracy, consistency, and executive-level quality.
Stakeholder & International Relations
Coordinate visits and engagements involving domestic and international executives and VIP stakeholders.
Manage pre-event planning, logistics coordination, and on-site support.
Serve as a liaison between local and global stakeholders.
Executive Support & Documentation
Prepare briefing materials and supporting documentation for executive meetings.
Attend meetings, capture key discussion points, and develop meeting summaries and follow-up actions.
Maintain accurate records and documentation of strategic discussions.
Strategic Projects
Support confidential and high-priority initiatives sponsored by executive leadership.
Coordinate cross-functional projects requiring collaboration across multiple departments.
Assist with governance, strategic planning, and organizational improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
Native-level Japanese and English communication skills (written and spoken).
Experience preparing business documentation and communicating with senior leadership in both languages.
Minimum 5 years of international work, study, or living experience.
Experience supporting VIP visitors, executive stakeholders, or high-profile events.
Proven ability to independently manage projects from planning through execution.
Strong analytical skills with experience reviewing and validating information from multiple sources.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Executive Assistant or Executive Support experience.
Experience in corporate strategy, business planning, governance, or board operations.
Experience within multinational or global organizations.
MBA or equivalent advanced business education.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
