Director, Data & Analytics
About the Role
We are seeking a Director, Data & Analytics to lead enterprise-scale AI and data initiatives. This role combines strategic leadership with deep technical expertise across the data science and AI lifecycle, including statistical modeling, machine learning, generative AI, and responsible AI deployment. The position focuses on driving business transformation from problem identification through to production-level solution delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Drive business transformation using data, analytics, and AI
Lead end-to-end lifecycle of data and AI solutions from ideation to delivery
Solve complex business problems using advanced analytics and AI technologies
Develop and execute data and analytics roadmaps
Present strategies, solutions, and business impact to senior leadership
Collaborate with cross-functional teams across business and technology functions
Ensure compliance with regulatory and governance requirements for AI solutions
Establish best practices and promote experimentation and innovation
Accelerate delivery using reusable frameworks and prototypes
Communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences
Lead team development, including hiring, coaching, and mentoring
Required Qualifications
Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
12+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or AI with demonstrated business impact
Experience driving digital or data transformation in large organizations
Proven ability to build and lead high-performing analytics teams
Strong knowledge of statistical methods and machine learning techniques
Experience working with large and complex datasets
Hands-on experience with AI/ML technologies including generative AI and LLMs
Familiarity with MLOps, AIOps, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and responsible AI practices
Understanding of data management, governance, and engineering concepts
Experience working with regulatory and compliance requirements
Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in banking, financial services, or insurance domains
Technical proficiency in Python and SQL
Experience with cloud ML platforms (e.g., Azure ML)
Experience managing large-scale agile delivery
Thought leadership contributions (publications, speaking, innovation initiatives)
