Gear Sales Representative (Sports / Retail)

We are seeking a Sales Representative to support the growth of product sales within the sports and lifestyle sector
This role focuses on wholesale sales of branded products, working closely with retail partners across multiple channels

Location: Tokyo (Aoyama area)

Working Hours: Standard business hours with break included

Key Responsibilities
1. Product Sales & Proposal Development
Conduct proposal-based sales of gear and accessory products
Identify key items from a broad product range and tailor proposals to each client
Drive sales performance through strategic product positioning
2. Multi-Channel Retail Management
Manage relationships across various sales channels, including large retailers, specialty stores, e-commerce platforms, and related venues
Adapt sales approaches based on different retail formats and customer segments
3. Cross-functional Coordination
Collaborate with internal teams such as product development, marketing, and logistics
Coordinate inventory management and ensure alignment between sales activities and supply chain operations
4. Data-Driven Sales Planning
Analyze sales performance data (e.g., sell-through metrics) to develop and execute sales strategies
Create actionable proposals based on consumer behavior and market trends
Candidate Requirements
Experience
Experience in wholesale or B2B sales (e.g., sports, apparel, accessories, or related industries)
Experience working with globally recognized or distributed brands
Proven ability to conduct proposal-based sales, either from a manufacturer or retail perspective
Skills
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Ability to manage multiple clients and sales channels simultaneously
Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data for sales planning
Language & Qualifications
Native-level Japanese
Business or conversational-level English (email and daily communication)
Valid driver’s license
Preferred Experience
Interest in sports, particularly golf, and knowledge of related products
Experience in retail sales environments or working closely with retail partners
