Role Overview
The Marketing Communications General Manager is responsible for developing and executing brand communication strategies to support business objectives. This role oversees advertising and promotional activities, ensuring consistent brand messaging across all channels.
The position requires close collaboration with product marketing, sales teams, dealer networks, and regional/global stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective delivery of marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Campaign Management
Plan and execute communication strategies across annual, quarterly, and monthly timelines
Manage budgets effectively while adapting to changing market conditions and business needs
Develop contingency plans to address risks and performance gaps
Marketing Execution & Coordination
Oversee the implementation of marketing campaigns in collaboration with agencies and internal teams
Coordinate with cross-functional departments such as CRM, communications, and regional marketing
Ensure timely and effective rollout of marketing activities
Dealer & Sales Collaboration
Partner with sales teams to support dealer network marketing initiatives
Participate in internal and external meetings to align marketing plans with business objectives
Provide guidance and support to ensure consistent brand representation across dealer channels
Internal & External Communication
Manage the flow of marketing-related information across internal teams, dealer networks, and regional/global stakeholders
Ensure clear and consistent communication of brand strategies and campaign updates
Performance Management & Analysis
Monitor and manage the sales funnel, setting clear targets aligned with business goals
Analyze KPIs to assess brand performance and marketing effectiveness
Take proactive actions to address performance gaps and optimize outcomes
ROI & Vendor Management
Evaluate the return on investment for marketing activities
Continuously improve business performance and agency/vendor effectiveness through regular reviews
Requirements
Strong experience in marketing communications, ideally within the automotive or related industry
Proven ability to manage complex marketing strategies and multi-channel campaigns
Experience working with cross-functional teams and external partners
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive performance improvements
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to adapt in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
