IT & Digital Support
Overview
A global out-of-home advertising and digital media company is seeking an IT & Digital Support professional to provide internal IT support and contribute to broader corporate IT operations in Japan. This position will serve as the primary IT contact point for local employees while supporting infrastructure, business applications, and user training initiatives.
The role is well suited for candidates looking to further develop their in-house IT support and corporate technology career within an international environment.
Main Responsibilities
IT Support / Help Desk
Provide user support related to PC hardware, networks, software, business applications, and mobile device setup/management
Respond to incidents and inquiries through service desk tools, phone, email, Microsoft Teams, and onsite support
Manage IT equipment and software license inventory
Support operation and basic maintenance of internal IT infrastructure including meeting room systems and network devices
Monitor IT services and propose service quality improvements
Support compliance monitoring related to internal IT policies
Create and update user manuals and operational documentation
Business Application Support
Support rollout and implementation of business applications
Provide operational support and user assistance for internal applications
Gather and organize user requirements through interviews and feedback sessions
Coordinate and communicate with regional deployment teams across Asia
Training & User Education
Support planning and delivery of IT security training programs several times per year
Assist with IT literacy and end-user training sessions covering system usage and operational guidelines
Requirements
Required Qualifications & Experience
Minimum 3 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or related corporate IT roles
Strong Japanese communication skills for internal user support
Basic English communication skills for email and simple conversations
Experience troubleshooting technical issues and performing first-line support
Hands-on experience in at least one of the following areas:
Networks
Microsoft Windows / Microsoft 365
IT or network security
Voice and data communications
Preferred Qualifications
IT certifications such as ITIL, MCSE, CCNA, or related credentials
Experience working in international or multicultural environments
Strong willingness to learn new technologies and tools
Proactive and flexible mindset with long-term career motivation
Work Environment
Support coverage for approximately 100 internal users across multiple offices in Japan
Main environment includes Microsoft 365, Windows OS, and mobile devices
Collaboration with regional teams in Asia
