Legal Manager
Overview
We are seeking a Legal Manager to provide comprehensive legal support across a wide range of business areas within a global organization
This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional and international teams, offering exposure to diverse industries and legal matters
The position covers contract management, compliance, dispute resolution, and strategic legal initiatives
Key Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day legal advice and review various types of contracts in both English and Japanese
Support compliance programs, litigation matters, dispute resolution, and corporate transactions such as M&A
Participate in and manage compliance-related committees and internal legal matters
Contribute to company-wide risk management initiatives and frameworks
Develop and deliver legal and compliance training programs for internal stakeholders
Candidate Requirements
Experience
Minimum 5+ years of professional legal experience
Strong background in corporate law and contract management
Experience handling compliance, litigation, dispute resolution, and M&A-related matters
Proven ability to provide legal advice in both Japanese and English contexts
Skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to proactively identify legal risks and propose solutions
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate across functions
