Logistics Assistant (Import / Supply Chain Operations)

We are seeking a Logistics Assistant to support import operations, inventory management, and order processing within an international business environment
This role involves close coordination with global offices, logistics vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth supply chain operations
The position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting

Reporting Line: Department Manager
Compensation: Approx. 4.0M – 5.5M JPY (depending on experience, incentive available)
Key Responsibilities
1. Import & Logistics Coordination
Manage import procedures for equipment and spare parts in coordination with overseas offices and logistics vendors
Ensure compliance with shipping and documentation requirements
2. Inventory Management
Monitor and control inventory levels based on sales forecasts and company targets
Coordinate with sales teams to align stock levels with demand
3. Order Processing & Administration
Process sales and purchase orders, including creation of delivery documents and invoices
Maintain accurate records within internal systems
4. Delivery Coordination
Communicate with customers regarding delivery schedules and timelines
Coordinate with internal teams and external logistics partners to manage lead times
5. Reporting & Data Management
Input and manage operational data
Prepare regular internal reports (daily, weekly, monthly)
Candidate Requirements
Experience
Minimum 3+ years of experience in logistics, import/export, or supply chain operations
Experience within international or trading companies preferred
Skills
Strong PC skills (data entry, reporting, and general office tools)
Good communication and coordination abilities
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
Language
Business-level English required
Additional language skills (e.g., European languages) are a plus
Education & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred
Overseas experience is a plus
