Overview
A globally recognized French luxury fashion brand is seeking a Media Assistant Manager to join its Tokyo marketing team. This position will play a key role in digital-first media planning, social media management, campaign execution, content creation, and performance reporting.
The role is ideal for a marketing professional with experience in digital media, social platforms, and integrated marketing campaigns within an international brand environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute digital-first and social-first 360° media strategies
- Plan, propose, launch, and manage advertising campaigns across digital and social channels
- Monitor and control media budgets to ensure efficient campaign execution
- Manage owned media channels, with a strong focus on the company's LINE account
- Create, schedule, and publish content across owned media platforms
- Write and proofread marketing content for eDMs, direct mail, e-commerce platforms, and catalogs
- Prepare campaign, monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reports
- Analyze campaign performance and provide actionable recommendations
- Support projects initiated by local Marketing Communications teams and global headquarters
- Participate in quarterly image and press events as part of the marketing team
- Support influencer marketing initiatives and collaborations when required
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above
- 3–4+ years of experience in marketing, digital marketing, media planning, or project management
- Experience working with international brands in Japan
- Strong knowledge of digital media and social media marketing
- Experience managing owned media channels and content distribution
- Excellent project management and organizational skills
- Strong copywriting and proofreading abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong analytical and reporting capabilities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience managing LINE Official Accounts
- Experience with influencer marketing campaigns
- Experience in luxury, fashion, lifestyle, or premium consumer brands
- Experience working in multicultural and cross-functional environments
- Understanding of omnichannel marketing strategies
- Ability to balance creative thinking with data-driven decision-making
Language Requirements
- Native-level Japanese
- Business-level English preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with international stakeholders and headquarters teams
