Overview
This role focuses on supporting and enhancing mission-critical network infrastructure within a financial services environment. The position involves end-to-end ownership of network systems, including architecture design, implementation, operations, and continuous improvement in an on-premise data center setting.
Key Responsibilities
Network Design & Implementation
Lead the design and deployment of enterprise network infrastructure
Gather technical requirements and develop end-to-end network architecture
Configure and implement network devices across project phases
Operations & Maintenance
Manage day-to-day network operations to ensure system stability and performance
Perform troubleshooting and resolve technical issues in a timely manner
Support scheduled maintenance activities, including occasional weekend or after-hours work
Infrastructure Optimization
Continuously improve network performance, scalability, and security
Collaborate with internal teams to enhance infrastructure and operational processes
Documentation & Communication
Create and maintain technical documentation, including architecture designs and system diagrams
Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
Required Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in network engineering (design, implementation, and operations)
Strong knowledge of L2/L3 networking and firewall configuration
Practical experience with software-defined networking technologies (e.g., Cisco ACI)
Advanced expertise in enterprise networking (equivalent to expert-level certifications)
Proven experience designing large-scale network environments
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
Business-level proficiency in English or Chinese
Experience in pre-sales or client-facing technical roles
Project management or team leadership experience
Relevant industry certifications (networking or project management)
Language Requirements
Japanese: Business level or above
English or Chinese: Preferred
