What the job entails
As Japan Procurement Manager, you will lead procurement activities across Japan and report to the Area General Manager. The role is responsible for vendor prequalification and onboarding, strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, budget oversight, and supplier performance management.
You will work closely with hotel operations, engineering, and finance teams to align procurement decisions with business needs, while navigating local market realities and maintaining continuity in a relationship-driven supplier environment. The position also involves monitoring market trends, managing risk and compliance, improving procurement processes and controls, supporting inventory continuity, and helping implement sustainable sourcing practices without compromising service or quality standards.
