Role Overview

Lead product strategy and product architecture for enterprise AI SaaS products
Define what to build, why it matters, and how it should be implemented across AI platforms
Operate at the intersection of product management, technical architecture, AI systems, and business strategy
Work across AI SaaS, enterprise integrations, RAG systems, tool-use, guardrails, multi-agent systems, and workflow automation
Partner closely with engineering, leadership, customer-facing teams, and enterprise stakeholders

Mission

Define the strategic direction of AI products from both technical and business perspectives
Increase the probability of success for enterprise AI products through strong product and architectural decision-making

Key Responsibilities

Translate business goals and customer challenges into product requirements and technical architecture
Define feature boundaries, domain models, data contracts, and API specifications
Lead RFC-driven design reviews and product decision-making processes
Design AI products utilizing LLM and generative AI patterns including RAG, tool-use, guardrails, and multi-agent systems
Make Build vs Buy vs Integrate decisions for critical technical capabilities
Drive trade-off decisions across scalability, availability, latency, security, maintainability, and cost
Collaborate closely with engineering, product, design, FDE, leadership, and enterprise customer stakeholders
Build product roadmaps with visibility into technical debt and long-term architectural sustainability
Contribute to broader product portfolio strategy and future platform direction

Required Qualifications

5+ years of experience as a Product Manager, Technical Product Manager, or Tech Lead
Practical software engineering knowledge with the ability to understand full-product architecture
Experience designing products utilizing LLMs or generative AI technologies
Understanding of RAG, tool-use, guardrails, or related AI product patterns
Strong system design knowledge including distributed systems, microservices, or event-driven architectures
Experience gathering requirements and building consensus with business stakeholders
Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, design, leadership, and customer-facing teams
Fluent Japanese communication skills for technical product discussions
Business-level English communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience launching 0-to-1 SaaS or B2B products
Startup environment experience
Cloud architecture design experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure
Experience operating RFC-driven design review processes
Strong English technical communication skills
Experience with enterprise SaaS integrations, workflow engines, or multi-tenant architecture
