Job role: Production Designer

Reporting to: Senior Producer / Program Manager
Role Summary
We are looking for a Production Designer with a drive and vision for bringing creative ideas to life in the digital space. The Production Designer is expected to champion excellence across the full lifecycle of digital production—from concept and design direction through to execution, optimisation, and final delivery. This role combines design leadership with hands‑on digital production, requiring both conceptual thinking and practical execution skills.
The person will live and breathe design, be culturally connected and most importantly love the craft and process of creating consistently eye catching campaigns. They will also need to establish and cultivate a cohesive design team, providing guidance and leadership in creating innovative digital assets while ensuring alignment with the brand identity.
The Designer should have a good understanding of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Sketch & Figma. It would be preferable that they have some experience using After Effects too. Experience with online, mobile and social banner formats is essential while knowing the difference between retina and standard display sizes would be useful. They must be a confident communicator, have a collaborative approach, and an obsessive eye for detail.
Responsibilities
Localization of campaigns for Japan market across digital & DOOH motion platforms on a leading global technology company
- including language adaptations and market‑specific adjustments
Ensure all digital assets meet platform‑specific technical specifications, including sizes, ratios, file formats, and delivery requirements
Own quality control of all digital outputs, ensuring accuracy, brand compliance, and creative integrity across executions
Oversee organization version control, and handover of digital assets to ensure efficient workflows and smooth campaign execution
Work closely with producers, program managers, designers, and external partners to ensure timely and accurate delivery of digital assets
Set the creative / design direction and standards for the department
Be up to date with the latest media trends in tech and advertising innovations
A strong desire to get stuck in, meet new people and have fun
Requirements
A conceptual thinker with the design skills to visualize their ideas
3-5 years of industry experience
Extensive knowledge of Adobe Suite; specifically in Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, InDesign, Sketch and Figma
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining speed, accuracy, and attention to detail
Highly organized and proactive with a keen eye for detail and pixel perfect design
Thrive under pressure and welcome challenges

Experience creating multiple online executions
Passionate about technology, advertising, innovation and media
Nice to Have
Working familiarity with After Effects and Premiere
Working knowledge of HTML5, CSS, and basic JavaScript for wrapper setup, basic edits, and QA
Experience supporting master asset audits or file management workflows
Japanese–English bilingual capability
