About the Company

An internationally recognized luxury jewelry maison founded in Milan is seeking a Sales Associate to join its Japan retail team. The brand is known for handcrafted jewelry collections created by skilled Italian artisans, combining contemporary elegance with exceptional craftsmanship.

Role Overview

The Sales Associate will deliver a high-end client experience while representing the brand’s craftsmanship, heritage, and unique jewelry collections. The role involves luxury sales, relationship management, store operations, and customer engagement within a premium retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service and personalized sales support to clients

  • Introduce and explain jewelry collections, gemstones, and styling options based on customer preferences and needs

  • Build long-term relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and loyalty

  • Support daily retail operations including opening/closing procedures, cashiering, stock management, and inventory control

  • Maintain visual merchandising displays aligned with seasonal campaigns and brand standards

  • Manage customer information and support CRM activities including invitations, follow-ups, and communication regarding events and new collections

  • Assist with administrative tasks and other store-related operational responsibilities

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in luxury retail sales or high-touch customer-facing industries such as luxury brands, cosmetics, automotive, or real estate

  • Proven experience in consultative sales and understanding customer needs to provide tailored recommendations

  • Strong track record of building customer relationships and achieving sales targets

  • Experience handling premium clientele in a luxury environment

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in jewelry sales or knowledge of jewelry and gemstones

  • Experience working with department store external sales teams or VIP clientele

  • Understanding of luxury customer service standards and relationship management
