Role Overview
The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving new business acquisition, developing strategic customer relationships, and expanding market share across a broad portfolio of logistics and supply chain services. This is a highly commercial, hunter-focused role requiring strong business development capabilities and the ability to deliver tailored logistics solutions to customers.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue growth and business objectives.
Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities across target industries.
Generate new customer accounts and expand the company’s client portfolio.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
Understand customer supply chain challenges and propose value-added logistics solutions.
Promote services including:
Freight forwarding
Customs brokerage and trade compliance
Warehousing and distribution
Supply chain management solutions
Domestic transportation services
Specialized logistics projects
Collaborate with operations and solution teams to develop competitive customer proposals.
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for growth.
Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and manage opportunities through the full sales lifecycle.
Participate in industry conferences, networking events, and customer meetings to increase market visibility.
Prepare sales forecasts, account plans, and business development reports.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and long-term account retention.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related discipline.
Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, supply chain, or transportation sales.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and winning new business.
Experience selling logistics solutions to corporate customers.
Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
Strong commercial mindset with a proactive and results-oriented approach.
Ability to perform in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience managing strategic or key customer accounts.
Understanding of complex supply chain and logistics operations.
Experience supporting large-scale logistics projects and specialized cargo solutions.
