Job Title: Customer Technology Consultant

Location: Tokyo, Japan

Role Overview

This consulting role focuses on helping clients transform their customer-facing functions (such as Sales, Customer Service, Marketing, and Digital Commerce) through the effective use of technology.

The position involves end-to-end engagement—from strategy development to implementation—aimed at driving business growth and enhancing customer experience. Rather than focusing solely on system deployment, the role emphasizes delivering holistic transformation initiatives aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
1. Consulting & Project Delivery
  • Identify challenges and develop strategies across customer engagement domains (e.g., CRM, CX, digital transformation)

  • Design and implement solutions using enterprise platforms (e.g., CRM and digital experience tools)

  • Lead full project lifecycle including requirements definition, system design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support

  • Engage with senior stakeholders and business teams to provide recommendations and drive decision-making

2. Project Management
  • Oversee project execution, including scope, timelines, and risk management

  • Coordinate with internal teams, clients, external vendors, and global stakeholders

  • Lead cross-functional collaboration and ensure successful delivery of outcomes

Requirements
Mandatory
  • Experience in system implementation projects across the full lifecycle (from requirements gathering to operations), or

  • Experience in project leadership roles such as PM or PMO

  • Proven ability to lead teams or work in a leadership capacity

Preferred
  • Experience in IT or digital transformation strategy development

  • Hands-on experience with CRM/CX platforms (e.g., leading enterprise solutions)

  • ERP implementation experience

  • Experience working with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or similar)

  • Exposure to advanced technologies such as AI, IoT, or mobile solutions

  • Strong stakeholder management experience, including engagement with senior business leaders

  • English proficiency for international collaboration
