What the job entails

As Senior Manager/ Director, Business Development, you will help drive new hotel management opportunities across Japan. Reporting to the Vice President, Business Development, you will identify prospects, build and maintain strong industry relationships, and support the evaluation of potential deals through market research, financial analysis, and feasibility review.

You will also play a key role in coordinating the deal process, preparing business cases and investment proposals, and supporting internal approval workflows. In addition, you will help develop customized proposals, manage RFP responses, and maintain business development materials such as pitch decks and collateral. The role requires regular follow-up on active opportunities and travel for meetings, conferences, and site visits.

Key requirements / What we look for
  • Degree in business, hospitality, real estate, finance, economics, or related field

  • 4–5+ years in business development or consultancy, ideally in hospitality/real estate/investment

  • Proven deal origination and closing experience

  • Strong financial acumen; Excel and PowerPoint proficiency

  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills

  • Fluent Japanese and business-level English
