Overview

A fashion and apparel brand is urgently seeking a Store Manager for its Sapporo Daimaru location.

This role is expected to start immediately on a short-term basis for approximately three months, with the possibility of extension or conversion to a permanent position depending on performance and business needs.

The ideal candidate will have previous leadership experience within retail environments and the ability to independently manage store operations and department store communications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily store operations and team management

  • Create and manage staff shift schedules

  • Maintain smooth communication and coordination with department store representatives

  • Support sales performance and customer service operations

  • Lead and support store staff to maintain operational standards

  • Assist with inventory management and overall store administration

  • Ensure a positive customer experience aligned with brand standards

Requirements
  • Previous experience as:

    • Store Manager

    • Assistant Store Manager

    • Retail leadership position

  • Experience within:

    • Apparel brands preferred

    • Related retail industries also considered

  • Ability to independently handle:

    • Department store communication

    • Shift scheduling

    • Store operations

  • Strong communication and leadership skills

  • Open to all genders
