Global company manufacturing and assembling machinery
Provides engineering services to the market unit and product management.
Researches, plans, and designs groups of mechanical items and subassemblies.
Performs reverse engineering and modification of mechanical products and systems for the purposes of replicating and/or improving products.
Develops and produces models, sketches, blue prints, and specifications for manufactured parts and assemblies.
Establishes dimensions, determines tolerances, and develops manufacturing specifications for parts.
Approves manufacturing drawings and activates parts as needed.
Provides engineering support to planning and procurement.
Executes engineering change orders per company standards.
Produces customer specific product documentation.
Owns and runs projects for the Product Engineering group as needed.
Visits and works with Business Unit Semicon customers on engineering projects.
Provides technical support and recommendations to sales, manufacturing and quality functions.
Reviews and responds to product related complaints.
Oversees engineering laboratory including, but not limited to, inventory management, housekeeping and maintenance.
Bachelor's degree (scientific or engineering) from a four-year college or university; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Employee must have a valid driver’s license
Ability to dimension and inspect mechanical components using a variety of inspection equipment
Language Skills: Analytical, documentation, communication, and presentation skills
Mathematical Skills: Ability to work with mathematical concepts and apply them to practical situations
Reasoning Ability: Problem-solving ability; ability to deal with several abstract and concrete variables
