Implement and support IT infrastructure projects in accordance with Global IT policies
Coordinate with Global IT department via email and conference call
Incidents (We call them "tickets." A ticket is issued when an employee raises a problem or request through the system)
Mainly, contractors respond to tickets. Weekly meetings are held to check on progress, and to discuss issues that are difficult to resolve or require overseas escalation.
The team leader is mainly responsible for responding to those tickets that are difficult to resolve or require overseas escalation (which is rare).
User communication (via email) regarding service outages and planned maintenance
Process IT-related invoices
Previous experience in technical or user support
At least 3 years of experience working in an internal IT department and have experience in technical/user support.
Team leadership experience is a plus.
Fluent in both Japanese & English.
