Position: Beauty Buyer

Overview
This role is responsible for sourcing, selecting, and developing beauty products for a multi-channel retail business with a strong focus on live commerce. The position covers the full buying cycle—from identifying trends and negotiating with vendors to planning sales strategies and driving product performance.
Key Responsibilities
Product Sourcing & Trend Analysis
Identify emerging market trends and source high-potential beauty products and brands
Conduct competitive analysis and attend industry events and trade shows (domestic and international)
Vendor Management
Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new vendors
Sales & Merchandising Strategy
Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., content production, marketing) to develop sales strategies
Plan product launches and optimize on-air or promotional schedules
Manage inventory planning, sales performance, and profitability
Product Development
Support the planning and development of private label (PB) products
Contribute to brand-building initiatives and long-term product growth
Candidate Profile
Experience
Minimum 2 years of experience in buying or buying support roles
Experience in the beauty or cosmetics industry (retail or manufacturer side)
Skills
Strong negotiation and relationship-building abilities
Commercial mindset with an eye for trends and product potential
Ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
