A growing organization within the life sciences and biopharmaceutical sector is seeking a Business Development & Marketing Specialist to support regional commercial expansion and distributor management activities. The role combines sales strategy, market analysis, customer relationship management, and marketing coordination within a highly technical industry environment.
This position works closely with internal leadership, distributors, and key customers to drive market growth and strengthen brand presence across regional markets.
Position Summary
The Business Development & Marketing Specialist will support the development and execution of sales and marketing strategies through market analysis, distributor engagement, and business development activities. The role also involves coordinating promotional initiatives, managing customer relationships, and supporting regional revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Market Analysis
Support the development of sales and marketing strategies through market and competitor analysis
Analyze customer behavior and market trends to identify business opportunities
Assist in planning and executing regional growth initiatives
Distributor & Customer Management
Build and maintain relationships with distributors and key customers
Provide product training and customer support using internal and external resources
Support distributor evaluation and annual sales target planning
Marketing & Promotion
Collaborate with marketing teams on promotional activities and campaigns
Coordinate webinars, seminars, exhibitions, and industry events
Support promotional material development and event planning
Coordinate internal resources for presentations and speaking opportunities
Business Development
Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within regional markets
Attend industry trade shows and networking events
Support revenue generation activities and achievement of sales targets
Reporting & CRM Management
Create and maintain sales activity and pipeline reports
Track leads, opportunities, and confirmed sales through direct and distributor channels
Qualifications
Education
Master’s degree preferred
Background in life sciences, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, or related field preferred
Experience
Minimum 3 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical or life sciences industry
Additional business development experience preferred
Experience in distributor or channel management is advantageous
