Overview
A rapidly growing AI-native technology company is seeking a Chief Product Officer to lead its company-wide product organization during a major scale-up phase.
This is a highly strategic and hands-on executive leadership role responsible for defining long-term product vision, scaling product management capabilities, and driving execution across multiple enterprise AI product lines. The successful candidate will work closely with executive leadership while directly contributing to product definition, prioritization, requirements planning, and cross-functional alignment.
The role oversees a growing Product Management organization focused on enterprise AI platforms, AI agents, workflow automation, and generative AI products across multiple business verticals.
Key Responsibilities
• Define company-wide product strategy aligned with long-term business goals and product vision
• Partner closely with executive leadership to shape product direction and growth strategy
• Prioritize initiatives across multiple AI product lines and allocate product resources effectively
• Lead requirements definition, specifications, and roadmap planning for strategic products
• Improve product development quality and strengthen collaboration with engineering teams
• Build and implement data-driven product decision-making processes across the organization
• Lead, coach, and develop the Product Management organization
• Establish scalable systems and processes that enable autonomous product execution
• Lead a diverse and multinational product organization
• Strengthen collaboration across Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success teams
• Translate customer feedback, market insights, competitor analysis, and business opportunities into product strategy
• Manage roadmaps, sprint planning, product backlogs, release planning, KPIs, and product performance evaluation
• Support alignment between executive leadership and technical stakeholders
Required Qualifications
• 5+ years of Product Management experience
• Experience leading product strategy from planning through execution
• Experience defining product direction through market research and competitor analysis
• Experience collaborating closely with engineering teams on requirements and specifications
• Experience managing teams of 5 or more members
• Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management abilities
• Business-level Japanese communication skills
• Daily conversational English ability

• Product Management experience within SaaS companies
• Experience leading enterprise SaaS products
• Experience working with generative AI or emerging technologies
• New business or new product launch experience
• Product renewal, migration, or large-scale transformation experience
• Experience reporting technical and product outcomes to executive stakeholders
• Experience contributing to management-level business strategy or investment decisions
• Product Owner experience within Scrum or agile environments
• Customer-facing requirements definition or presales experience
• Engineering background or UI/UX design knowledge
• Experience validating product hypotheses and decisions using data analysis
