What the job entails
You will join the Institutional Sales Client Solutions team in Tokyo and support senior team members across fundraising and client coverage efforts. The role requires close collaboration with colleagues in Japan and globally, and offers broad exposure to institutional investor engagement in private markets.
Your work will include preparing client presentations, pitches, and product updates, as well as supporting meeting preparation and responding to internal and client requests. You will help organize and participate in calls and visits with institutional investors, support preparation of IHDD materials, map investor landscapes in new markets, and coordinate a range of client events. Success in this role depends on strong organization, networking ability, attention to detail, and a proactive, service-oriented mindset.
Key requirements / What we look for
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field from a top-tier university
2+ years of experience in business development, marketing/sales, or finance/reporting
Strong analytical, interpersonal, and presentation skills
Excellent written and verbal business English; native Japanese speaker
Interest in private markets, with prior industry exposure as a plus
Highly organized, detail-oriented, humble, and enthusiastic
