Role Overview
A global consulting and technology services firm is seeking a senior leader to head its Data & Analytics practice. This role operates at a director level or above and is responsible for driving business growth, leading client engagements, and delivering large-scale data and AI transformation initiatives for enterprise clients.
You will act as both a business leader and subject matter expert, overseeing the full lifecycle from solution development to execution, while also building and scaling the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Revenue Ownership
Drive sales performance, revenue growth, and utilization targets
Build and manage a strong pipeline of enterprise clients
Lead proposal development and client acquisition efforts
Service & Offering Development
Design and expand consulting offerings within the Data & Analytics domain
Align solutions with market trends and client needs
Client Delivery & Engagement
Oversee large-scale data and AI transformation projects
Provide strategic guidance and ensure successful project execution
Support complex proposals and maintain delivery quality
Leadership & Organizational Development
Lead hiring, talent development, and team management initiatives
Build and scale high-performing consulting teams
Thought Leadership
Contribute to industry discussions, events, and knowledge-sharing initiatives
Establish credibility as a domain expert in data and AI
Required Qualifications
Extensive consulting experience at a senior leadership level (Director or above)
Strong expertise in data, analytics, and AI, with the ability to translate technology into business value
Proven experience managing projects in data/AI domains (e.g., master data management or similar areas)
Native or fluent Japanese and working proficiency in English
Preferred Qualifications
Experience advising on data-driven transformation across business processes, organization, and technology
Advanced architectural knowledge in AI platforms, applications, or data infrastructure
Hands-on experience with enterprise data solutions or platforms
Proven track record in sales, business planning, and execution
Experience leading cross-functional, large-scale initiatives
Experience developing solutions leveraging emerging technologies
