【JOB RESPONSIBILITIES】
As the data scientist on this team, you will be working with health biomarkers, EMR and other associated subject-level health data. You will be working closely with designers and engineers to develop new health related product features, training Machine Learning models, and deliver bespoke algorithms (to our clients). You should be comfortable with both exploratory statistics / data science, and with contributing ML code to our production codebase.
Scope, design, and implement ML models to support the product initiatives of the business.
Compile, integrate, and analyze data from various sources to support product development and answer business questions.
Managing live models (monitoring MLOps and model performance) and taking initiative to refit and calibrate to deliver optimal product value.
Contribute to data engineering strategies to help direct strategic technical decisions and ensures appropriate use of data science.
【REQUIREMENTS】
Have a scientific attitude and in depth understanding of statistical modelling, mathematical modelling, mathematical foundations of ML and AI algorithms and models.
Good understanding of a relevant healthcare area - bioinformatics, hospital data systems, population health.
Practical experience developing and implementing machine learning on large data sets and in bringing such models into a production environment.
Experience in analysing longitudinal biological/physiological data.
Experience in project management of customer ML projects, including planning, tracking and execution.
Highly skilled with programming languages such as Python and R, or similar, as well as visualisation packages.
Highly skilled in data management programming such as SQL.
Masters degree (or advanced degree equivalent) in Computer Science, or related technical, math, or scientific field
