Role Summary
The Editor is responsible for localization and post-production workflows across digital video, 2D animation and TVC projects, ensuring high-quality execution from original global source file ingest through localization, review and finishing to final delivery for various media channels across TV, DOOH, and social.
This role focuses on execution, QC, and technical readiness, using compositing and editorial tools such as After Effects and Premiere. There may be occasions where the Editor supports or attends external post production sessions to help ensure localized assets are correctly implemented and prepared for final finishing.
Responsibilities
Localisation of campaigns for Japan market across digital & DOOH motion platforms on a leading global technology company - including language adaptations and market‑specific adjustment
Ingest, QC, and organize incoming video and data assets from global production teams
Build and manage localization timelines in After Effects and Premiere for TVCs and related video assets
Prepare localized video versions incorporating localized mixes, graphics (GFX), compositing, and animation elements
Export and package assets for online sessions or hand off to external post production studios, and/or final delivery
Ensure all TVC, video and digital assets meet platform‑specific technical specifications, including sizes, ratios, file formats, and delivery requirements
Collaborate closely with Producer, Motion Graphics, VFX, and Production teams to ensure accurate implementation of localized materials
Address creative and technical feedback in coordination with the Video Producer
Maintain clear file structures, version control, and documentation across markets and deliverables
Support technical checks and QC prior to delivery or post production finishing
Attend or support post production sessions when required, acting as a point of executional support rather than creative lead
Requirements
Strong experience in video editorial and compositing workflows, particularly using After Effects and Premiere
Experience supporting
localization workflows across multiple deliverables and markets.
Excellent organizational skills with a strong focus on QC, version control, and file management.
Comfortable working with partially defined pipelines and evolving technical requirements
Ability to work independently while taking clear direction from production leadership
Collaborative mindset and clear communication skills
An eye for detail, aesthetics and design
Nice to Have
Experience working with or supporting post production studios
Familiarity with Flame / Inferno, Nuke, or DaVinci Resolve Fusion
Exposure to broadcast oriented delivery requirements with post production studios
Japanese–English bilingual capability
