Role Overview
A global technology-focused organization is seeking an IT Help Desk Support Specialist to join its internal IT and security team. This role serves as the first point of contact for employees, providing timely technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and mobile devices.
The position requires strong technical knowledge, effective communication skills, and a proactive approach to resolving issues.
Key Responsibilities
User Support & Troubleshooting
Act as the primary contact for internal IT support requests
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and device-related issues
Provide timely assistance to ensure minimal disruption to business operations
System & Platform Administration
Manage and support enterprise productivity tools (e.g., email, collaboration platforms)
Administer user accounts and access management systems
Support collaboration tools such as document sharing and communication platforms
Device & Asset Management
Manage IT assets including laptops and mobile devices
Support device provisioning and setup using modern deployment tools
Oversee device management and security through endpoint management platforms
Software & Service Management
Maintain and manage software deployments and updates
Support IT services and ensure system availability and performance
Required Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of experience in an IT support or help desk environment
Experience supporting enterprise productivity tools (e.g., email, collaboration, file sharing platforms)
Knowledge of Windows operating systems (Windows 10/11)
Basic experience with macOS and mobile device management (iOS)
Experience providing remote technical support
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Business-level proficiency in Japanese
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Proactive mindset with strong ownership and persistence
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL or similar best practices)
Business-level English communication skills
