Overview
We are seeking an HR Health & Safety Manager to lead workplace safety initiatives and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within an international organization
This role partners closely with regional leadership and HR to drive a safe, compliant, and employee-focused work environment

Reports to: Regional HR Director (APAC)
Employment Type: Full-time
Hiring Type: Replacement position
Work Environment: Primarily office-based (hybrid available after probation, subject to policy)
Team Structure: Part of a regional HR function
Compensation & Benefits
Salary range: Approximately JPY 8.5M+ (depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement health and safety policies in line with local regulations and global standards
Ensure compliance with workplace safety laws and internal guidelines
Conduct risk assessments, audits, and workplace inspections
Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions
Partner with HR and leadership to promote a strong safety culture
Deliver training and awareness programs related to health and safety
Monitor and report on safety metrics and continuous improvement initiatives
Candidate Requirements
Experience
Proven experience in health and safety management within a corporate environment
Strong knowledge of local regulatory requirements and compliance standards
Experience working within regional or international structures is preferred
Language
Native-level Japanese proficiency
Business to intermediate-level English (flexible depending on experience)
Profile
Mid- to senior-level professional with strong leadership capabilities
Ability to work independently and influence stakeholders
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
