HR Health & Safety Manager
Overview
  • We are seeking an HR Health & Safety Manager to lead workplace safety initiatives and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within an international organization

  • This role partners closely with regional leadership and HR to drive a safe, compliant, and employee-focused work environment

  • Reports to: Regional HR Director (APAC)

Compensation & Benefits
  • Salary range: Approximately JPY 8.5M+ (depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement health and safety policies in line with local regulations and global standards

  • Ensure compliance with workplace safety laws and internal guidelines

  • Conduct risk assessments, audits, and workplace inspections

  • Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions

  • Partner with HR and leadership to promote a strong safety culture

  • Deliver training and awareness programs related to health and safety

  • Monitor and report on safety metrics and continuous improvement initiatives

Candidate Requirements

Experience

  • Proven experience in health and safety management within a corporate environment

  • Strong knowledge of local regulatory requirements and compliance standards

  • Experience working within regional or international structures is preferred

Language

  • Native-level Japanese proficiency

  • Business to intermediate-level English (flexible depending on experience)
