A globally recognized premium fashion and lifestyle retailer is seeking a Floor Manager to support the launch and operation of a temporary pop-up retail location in Kyoto. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences, leading store teams, driving sales performance, and supporting daily retail operations throughout the pop-up period.
Role Overview
As a Floor Manager, you will play a key leadership role in creating an inspiring shopping environment while ensuring operational excellence and strong commercial performance. You will lead sales associates, support talent development, and serve as a brand ambassador who delivers outstanding customer service and team engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Experience & Sales
Deliver exceptional customer experiences through personalized service, styling advice, and product knowledge.
Act as a brand ambassador, ensuring a welcoming and engaging store environment.
Support achievement of sales targets and key performance indicators.
Analyze sales performance and collaborate with store leadership to maximize business results.
Identify opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction and commercial performance.
Team Leadership & Development
Lead and motivate sales associates to deliver high service standards.
Support recruitment and onboarding activities for new team members.
Coordinate and oversee training and development initiatives.
Partner with store leadership to identify and develop future talent.
Provide coaching, feedback, and performance support to team members.
Store Operations
Oversee daily store operations and ensure compliance with operational standards.
Support inventory management, visual presentation, and store maintenance activities.
Ensure operational efficiency and adherence to company policies and procedures.
Act as store leader in the absence of the Store Manager.
Required Qualifications
Retail & Customer Service Experience
Previous experience in retail, fashion, luxury, lifestyle, or customer-facing environments.
Strong understanding of customer experience and service excellence.
Experience supervising teams or supporting retail operations preferred.
Leadership Skills
Ability to motivate and develop team members.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
