Role Overview
The successful candidate will perform a variety of laboratory procedures involving biological samples, analytical instruments, and experimental protocols. The position requires strong wet-lab expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain accurate documentation while supporting scientific research and laboratory operations.
Key Responsibilities
Laboratory Operations
Conduct laboratory experiments and procedures using biological samples, reagents, and analytical instruments.
Handle cell suspensions, tissue samples, antibodies, and other laboratory materials.
Prepare and process samples according to established protocols and quality standards.
Support routine laboratory workflows and research activities.
Experimental Documentation & Analysis
Maintain detailed experimental records, reports, summaries, and standard operating procedures.
Collect, analyze, and interpret experimental data.
Document observations and communicate findings to internal stakeholders.
Ensure accurate record keeping and compliance with laboratory standards.
Equipment Operation & Maintenance
Operate laboratory instrumentation and analytical equipment.
Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, calibration, and basic troubleshooting of laboratory instruments.
Disassemble, clean, and reassemble equipment as required.
Escalate technical issues and support corrective actions when necessary.
Inventory & Laboratory Support
Monitor and maintain inventory levels of laboratory consumables and supplies.
Coordinate procurement and replenishment of laboratory materials.
Support laboratory organization, safety compliance, and operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Biology, Biotechnology, Biomedical Science, Pathology, or a related scientific discipline.
Minimum 5 years of hands-on wet laboratory experience.
Strong laboratory techniques and experimental execution skills.
Experience maintaining detailed scientific documentation and laboratory records.
Ability to analyze experimental results and communicate findings effectively.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to laboratory quality standards.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in pathology-related laboratory environments.
Hands-on experience with flow cytometry and/or mass spectrometry platforms.
Experience with cell culture techniques.
Experience preparing tissue slides and biological specimens.
Experience performing immunostaining and antibody-based assays.
Knowledge of laboratory equipment troubleshooting and maintenance.
Familiarity with regulated laboratory environments and quality systems.
