Merchandising Manager
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute seasonal buying strategies and product assortments for assigned categories across different store formats, aligning with both global direction and local market needs.
Oversee product allocation and inventory performance, closely monitoring sell-through rates to optimize sales while minimizing stock risk. Identify opportunities for replenishment to drive additional revenue.
Coordinate and implement product launch strategies in line with global guidelines, working cross-functionally with retail operations, visual merchandising, and store teams to ensure successful execution.
Design and deliver product-focused initiatives and promotional activities (e.g., exclusive events, temporary retail activations, and private sales) in collaboration with internal stakeholders such as retail and communications teams.
Monitor shipment timelines and partner with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure accurate and timely product delivery.
Analyze competitor activity, including financial performance, market trends, and product strategies, and adapt plans to maintain a competitive position in the market.
Manage seasonal purchasing for licensed product categories and maintain regular communication with external partners to ensure appropriate stock levels and allocation.
Create and distribute seasonal product materials, and conduct training sessions for retail teams to enhance product knowledge and sales effectiveness.
Collaborate with internal quality teams to define and uphold product quality standards within the local market.
Key Requirements
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in merchandising within the fashion or related industry.
Strong understanding of current fashion trends and the luxury retail landscape.
Proficiency in standard computer applications and data analysis tools.
Business-level proficiency in English.
