This role will focus on expanding adoption of the company’s AI-powered MRI solution across Japan, supporting healthcare institutions ranging from university hospitals to private clinics. The position will play a key role in driving business growth, expanding market presence, and strengthening relationships within the medical imaging community.

Main Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales

  • Proactively generate new business opportunities through strategic and creative sales activities

  • Develop and nurture leads through:

    • Referrals

    • Outbound prospecting

    • Distributor collaboration

    • Customer-focused events

  • Build strong understanding of the solution’s clinical and operational value to tailor proposals to customer needs

  • Consistently drive sales growth and market expansion across assigned territories

Consultative Solution Selling

  • Present value-based solutions to healthcare stakeholders by emphasizing:

    • Improved patient throughput through reduced MRI scan times

    • Enhanced diagnostic quality through advanced imaging performance

    • Optimization of capital investment through extended equipment usability

  • Identify customer pain points and propose evidence-based solutions that align with operational and clinical goals

Distributor & Partner Management

  • Support and educate distribution partners to maximize market reach and sales effectiveness

  • Collaborate with channel partners to strengthen customer engagement and business opportunities

Marketing & Industry Engagement

  • Lead promotional initiatives at:

    • Conferences

    • Exhibitions

    • Industry events

  • Increase market awareness and generate qualified leads through active participation in the medical imaging community

Qualifications & Requirements

Required Experience

  • Proven success in healthcare-related sales, including:

    • Medical devices

    • Pharmaceuticals

    • Healthcare IT systems such as PACS/RIS

  • Demonstrated track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets

  • Strong consultative sales and proposal development skills

  • Ability to identify underlying customer challenges and deliver strategic, value-based solutions

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Existing network or regional familiarity within Kyushu or Hokkaido preferred

  • Experience related to:

    • MRI

    • Diagnostic imaging

    • Radiology

    • AI-powered healthcare solutions highly desirable
