AI Engineer (Speech & Robotics)
Overview
We are seeking an AI Engineer to join an advanced robotics and AI team developing next-generation remote presence and communication technologies
This role focuses on enhancing AI-driven capabilities for a mobility platform that enables real-time interaction through robotic systems
The position involves working on cutting-edge solutions across speech processing, machine learning, and intelligent automation in a global, innovation-driven environment
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement speech processing pipelines for real-world applications
Develop and deploy AI features to enhance robotic communication and interaction capabilities
Conduct research on the latest advancements in machine learning and speech technologies
Build scalable and efficient code that can be deployed across multiple devices and environments
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve system performance and user experience
Contribute to continuous improvement of AI models and system architecture
Technical Environment
Programming Languages: Python (primary), C++ (for embedded/edge deployment)
AI/ML Technologies: Speech recognition, natural language processing, and deep learning models
Infrastructure: Edge devices and cloud-based systems
Tools: Version control systems and containerization technologies
Candidate Requirements
Must-Have Skills
Strong programming proficiency in Python
Experience with version control systems and containerization tools
Solid understanding of deep learning fundamentals for language and speech processing
Neural network architectures (e.g., transformers, sequence models)
Core machine learning concepts (training methods, evaluation metrics)
Knowledge of speech processing techniques
Audio preprocessing
Voice activity detection
Speaker identification and segmentation
Experience with relevant AI libraries and frameworks for speech processing
Nice to Have
Advanced degree in Computer Science, AI, or a related field
Hands-on experience deploying speech AI systems in production environments
Knowledge of model optimization techniques and evaluation strategies
Experience with distributed systems, cloud computing, or high-performance computing
Familiarity with GPU acceleration and related technologies
Ability to communicate in Japanese (reading/writing)
