What the job entails

The Night Manager is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the hotel’s operations during the overnight shift. Acting as the hotel’s representative after hours, you will ensure guest safety, service quality, and operational smoothness while making sound decisions in real time.

You will handle guest inquiries, complaints, and emergencies, while coordinating closely with other departments to ensure seamless handovers and continuity of service. The role also includes leading and supporting the night team, managing nightly reports, and completing financial checks. This position calls for calm judgment, strong communication, and the ability to maintain a high level of service throughout the night.

Key requirements / What we look for
  • 2+ years of leadership experience in Front Office or Guest Services

  • Fluent Japanese and English communication skills

  • Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and leadership abilities

  • Opera PMS experience is a plus [suggestion: or similar hotel PMS experience]
