Global manufacturer of industrial equipment focused on the food & beverage industry across the globe.

【JOB RESPONSIBILITIES】

  • Maintain a record of accidents and incidents and monitor completion of follow up actions and ensure that adequate investigation and analysis is completed

  • Monitor compliance with agreed site OHS policies and procedures both at our sites and customers sites.

  • Ensure that an OHS training program is in place to cover the significant risks on the site.

  • Prohibit any activity from continuing that he/she considers is an imminent danger or a significant breach of OHS legislation.

  • Provide OHS advice and guidance as required to enable compliance with local legislation and the Group OHS Policy

  • Provide on-site support including liaising with the enforcement authorities in the event of a serious accident or enforcement authority action

  • Maintain OHS systems (myOHS) to support employee how to input into the system and follow up action as needed.   

  • Support and where required establish an OHS incident reporting and investigation procedure in accordance with local legislation and the procedure for ‘Reporting OHS incidents’.

  • Establish and deliver an OHS training plan to comply with local legislation and the Group OHS Policy in order to cover significant risks on site.

  • As required establish and monitor an OHS inspection program of the sites covered by this contract. Ensuring compliance with local legislation and the Group OHS Policy.

  • Conduct OHS inspections of CSO and PSE activities at customer sites. 

  • As required by our support health and well-being initiatives to ensure compliance with the Group OHS Policy

  • Prohibit any activity from continuing that is considered a danger or a significant breach of OHS legislation

  • Facilitate monthly health and safety committee 

  • Organize annual stress check to all employees        

  • Organize fire drill of Tokyo office 

  • Establish company wide risk management together with HR Country Representative.

【REQUIREMENTS】

  • Bachelors/diploma or equivalent in relevant areas

  • 5 years of working experience

  • Required local legal certifications Health Supervisor (第一種衛生管理者) 

  • Occupational Health and Safety training experience

  • Experience to implement regulatory standards in manufacturing area is preferable

  • Experience to manage security aspects

  • Thorough knowledge of local health, safety & environmental regulations.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in Incident Investigation, Root Cause Analysis and Problem Solving

  • Good communication skills in both Japanese and English

  • Interpersonal Savvy

  • Motivating others

  • Good facilitation skill 

  • Passionate in OHS  

  • Flexibility
