Overview
A luxury hospitality property is seeking a People Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day HR operations and support the development of a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace culture.
This role is responsible for managing core HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compensation administration, compliance, and employee engagement initiatives. The position plays a key role in supporting both business objectives and employee wellbeing within a hospitality-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
HR Strategy & Operations
Develop and implement People Operations strategies aligned with overall business objectives
Maintain and improve HR systems, processes, and operational procedures
Support organizational development and workforce planning initiatives
Ensure compliance with employment laws, labor regulations, and internal company policies
Employee Relations & Workplace Culture
Act as a bridge between management and employees by addressing workplace concerns, grievances, and employee relations matters
Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive working environment
Promote employee engagement, motivation, and retention initiatives
Support leadership teams in maintaining strong workplace culture and communication
Recruitment & Talent Management
Assist with recruitment and selection processes
Support onboarding and retention initiatives for team members
Help develop programs that support employee growth and long-term engagement
Manage performance appraisal processes to encourage high performance and continuous development
HR Administration & Compliance
Administer compensation, benefits, and leave management processes
Maintain employee records and documentation in compliance with government regulations
Support payroll-related administration and HR reporting processes
Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of HR data and personnel files
Stakeholder Collaboration
Build strong relationships with internal departments and external stakeholders
Support leadership and operational teams with HR guidance and employee support
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the organization
Requirements
Required Qualifications
Relevant educational background related to Human Resources, Business, Hospitality, or a related field
2–3 years of HR supervisory or leadership experience
Hospitality or hotel industry experience preferred
Skills & Competencies

Experience improving or implementing HR systems and operational processes
