Overview
A global IT services organization is seeking an experienced Teamcenter L3 Support Engineer to provide onsite Application Management Services (AMS) for enterprise PLM systems. This role focuses on advanced production support, complex incident resolution, and close collaboration with Japanese stakeholders and global technical teams.
You will play a critical role in ensuring system stability, driving root cause resolution, and enhancing overall PLM operations.
Position Summary
The Teamcenter L3 Support Engineer will take ownership of high-priority incidents, provide deep technical and functional expertise, and support continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires strong hands-on experience, bilingual communication skills, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities
Production Support
Provide L3 production support for Teamcenter PLM applications
Manage and resolve complex incidents and escalations
Ensure system performance, stability, and reliability
Incident Management & RCA
Conduct root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes
Drive issue resolution in collaboration with internal and external teams
Maintain detailed incident tracking and documentation
Stakeholder Coordination
Work closely with customer IT and business stakeholders
Coordinate with Siemens GTAC for issue resolution
Participate in onsite meetings, SLA reviews, and escalation handling
Technical Support
Support Teamcenter modules (BOM, Change, Document, Classification, Integrations)
Guide and mentor L2 support teams
Contribute to knowledge base, SOPs, and best practices
Continuous Improvement
Identify and implement process improvements
Enhance operational efficiency and support frameworks
Requirements
Core Requirements
5–8 years of experience in Teamcenter PLM support (L3 / AMS / Production Support)
Strong understanding of Teamcenter architecture, workflows, and data models
Hands-on experience in enterprise PLM environments
Technical Skills
Exposure to BMIDE / ITK / SOA / AWC preferred
Experience with integrations and enterprise systems
Language
Japanese: Business level (N2 or above)
English: Fluent
Eligibility
Must be currently residing and working in Japan
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working on onsite projects in Japan
Familiarity with ITIL-based AMS environments
