Overview
A global IT services organization is seeking a bilingual Teamcenter Support Engineer to provide onsite Application Management Services (AMS) for enterprise PLM systems. This role focuses on production support, incident resolution, and collaboration with both local stakeholders and global technical teams.
You will play a key role in maintaining system stability and driving continuous improvement within a mission-critical PLM environment.
Position Summary
The Teamcenter Support Engineer will be responsible for L3-level support, handling complex incidents, and ensuring seamless operation of Teamcenter applications. This role requires strong technical expertise, stakeholder communication skills, and the ability to operate in a bilingual (Japanese-English) environment.
Key Responsibilities
Production Support
Provide L3 production support for Teamcenter PLM applications
Handle complex incidents and service requests
Ensure system stability and performance
Incident Management & RCA
Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes
Manage escalations and critical issue resolution
Maintain incident documentation and reporting
Stakeholder Coordination
Collaborate with customer IT and business teams
Coordinate with external vendors including Siemens GTAC
Participate in onsite meetings, SLA reviews, and escalation calls
Technical Support
Support key Teamcenter modules (BOM, Change, Document, Classification, Integrations)
Provide guidance to L2 support teams
Contribute to knowledge base and SOP documentation
Continuous Improvement
Identify improvement opportunities in support processes
Enhance documentation and operational efficiency
Requirements
Core Requirements
3–5 years of experience in Teamcenter PLM support (L3 / AMS / Production Support)
Strong understanding of Teamcenter architecture, workflows, and data models
Experience supporting enterprise PLM environments
Technical Skills
Exposure to BMIDE / ITK / SOA / AWC preferred
Familiarity with system integrations and enterprise applications
Language
Japanese: Business level (N2 or above)
English: Fluent
Eligibility
Must be currently residing and working in Japan

Experience in onsite projects in Japan
Experience working in ITIL-based AMS environments
