Role Overview
A fast-growing fintech company is seeking a Product Manager to lead the development and strategy of its online payment products, including payment gateway and pay-by-link solutions. This role focuses on improving merchant onboarding, optimizing transaction flows, and driving product growth through data and market insights.
Key Responsibilities
Product Design & Development
Define and enhance features for online payment products such as gateway and pay-by-link solutions
Improve user experience across merchant portals and APIs
Integration Management
Manage integrations with payment providers (e.g., card networks, QR payments, and digital wallets)
Ensure stable and scalable connectivity with external partners
Product Strategy
Develop product strategies based on market trends and competitor analysis
Identify opportunities to differentiate offerings and improve adoption
Performance Optimization
Analyze data to improve conversion rates and overall transaction performance
Continuously optimize payment flows and user journeys
Growth & KPI Ownership
Own key performance metrics such as transaction volume, merchant acquisition, and revenue
Drive post-launch improvements and expansion initiatives
Required Qualifications
Experience as a Product Manager in online payments, e-commerce, or related digital products
Strong understanding of payment processing flows (e.g., authorization, settlement, chargebacks)
Ability to analyze data and translate insights into product improvements
Business-level Japanese and ability to collaborate in an international environment
Preferred Qualifications
Experience building or operating payment gateway systems
Hands-on experience integrating with payment service providers or external platforms
Experience managing API-based products or B2B SaaS solutions
