About the company
Our client is an international luxury fashion house with a strong heritage, distinctive design identity and a growing presence across Japan and Korea. The business combines global creativity with a highly localised approach to customer experience, supported by close collaboration with its international headquarters.
The company values passion, individuality, high standards and authentic client engagement. Employees are encouraged to bring energy, openness and a collaborative spirit to their work. This is an exciting opportunity to join a closely connected regional team during an important period of growth, with new creative direction and collections creating fresh opportunities across the retail network.
What the job entails
As Retail Excellence Training Manager, you will lead the delivery of retail training across Japan and Korea, reporting directly to the Director in this standalone role. Your purpose will be to strengthen selling capability, customer engagement and styling excellence across the store network.
You will deliver practical, shop-floor coaching, demonstrating how to approach customers confidently, communicate the brand story and create complete looks rather than selling individual items. You will create training plans and timelines, adapt global headquarters materials into an appropriate local luxury tone, and cascade new global training initiatives to retail teams.
The role will involve regular store visits, with a particular focus on the Ginza location, as well as support for outlet stores and occasional overnight travel to the Kansai region. Success will depend on your ability to motivate teams, provide practical solutions and create a positive, energetic store atmosphere.
