Role Overview

  • Serve as a strategic partner driving profitable growth across the Japan business

  • Lead Revenue Growth Management (RGM) initiatives focused on pricing, promotions, and commercial optimization

  • Translate complex market and financial data into actionable recommendations for Sales, Marketing, and senior leadership

  • Work closely with local and global stakeholders to improve pricing strategies and maximize ROI

Key Responsibilities

Revenue Growth Strategy & Execution

  • Lead and continuously improve the RGM strategy for the Japan market

  • Partner with Sales and Marketing teams to execute commercial strategies effectively

  • Act as the in-market RGM expert and collaborate with global RGM teams

  • Develop standardized processes for pricing, promotion, and product performance analysis

Commercial Analytics & Pricing Optimization

  • Analyze market trends using Intage and customer POS data

  • Generate insights on brand and competitor performance

  • Develop pricing and promotional recommendations aligned with business objectives

  • Evaluate promotional effectiveness and conduct post-campaign reviews

  • Perform price elasticity analysis to support strategic pricing decisions

  • Create long-term pricing roadmaps and recommend pricing adjustments

  • Support new product launches through pricing and promotional analysis

Financial Planning & Governance

  • Support financial planning activities including forecasting and month-end analysis

  • Manage ad-hoc commercial and financial analysis projects to support business decisions

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field

  • 5+ years of experience in analytical functions such as RGM, Finance, Commercial Analytics, or Category Management

  • Strong understanding of commercial strategy, trade environments, and pricing dynamics

  • Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, modeling, and advanced formulas

  • Fluent Japanese and strong business English communication skills

  • Ability to work independently, manage ambiguity, and provide strategic recommendations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Direct experience in Revenue Growth Management (RGM)

  • Background in multinational consumer goods companies

  • Experience working with Intage and customer POS data

  • Knowledge of BI and analytics tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Python, or R
