【JOB RESPONSIBILITIES】
This role provides expertise in data processing and statistical data analysis using real-world databases across all therapeutic areas. You will be reporting to the Head of RWE based in the US.
The deliverables of the person in this role is an integral part of our teams mission and requires expertise in creation, quality control and maintenance of statistics programs for the creation of tables, figures and listings; as well as usage of existing commercial databases and other real-world data sets.
The person in this role will be able to recognize statistical issues as they create protocols, data definitions and analyses in a post-hoc manner from existing databases and will be able to collaborate with RWE colleagues to address these issues under the direction of a RWE colleague with statistical expertise.
【REQUIREMENTS】
Master/PhD Degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Mathematics, or Computer Science and at least 1 ~ 2 years relevant programming experience OR Bachelors and 2 ~ 3 years relevant programming experience
SAS programming skills (1~3 years)
Understanding of SAS analytic tools (SAS/BASE, SAS/STAT, and SAS/GRAPH)
At least 1-year SQL programming skill
1~3 years’ experience in administrative claims database and EMR databases such as JMDC, MDV, Meditrend, etc.
Business level English (able to participate in teleconferences, read/write in English; TOEIC 750 or more
Native or advanced level Japanese fluency (Passed Japanese Proficiency Test Level N1)
