Overview
  • We are seeking a Sales Engineer to support business growth within a global organization specializing in precision laboratory and industrial technologies

  • This role focuses on providing solution-based sales to clients in the life sciences and related sectors, while building strong customer and distributor relationships

  • The position combines technical expertise with commercial responsibility to drive market expansion in Japan

Key Responsibilities
1. Solution-Based Sales
  • Propose laboratory equipment and tailored solutions based on customer requirements

  • Understand client needs and provide technical recommendations to support decision-making

2. Distributor Management
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with distributors

  • Monitor and support distributor performance to drive sales growth

3. Business Development
  • Identify opportunities to expand market share across key product categories

  • Develop strategies to grow presence within target industries

4. New Client Acquisition
  • Prospect and secure new customers, particularly within pharmaceutical and related sectors

  • Build long-term relationships with new and existing clients

5. Product Demonstration & Training
  • Conduct product demonstrations and provide technical training to customers

  • Support clients in effectively utilizing products and solutions

6. Business Contribution
  • Align sales activities with overall company targets and objectives

  • Contribute to revenue growth and market expansion initiatives

Candidate Requirements
Basic Requirements
  • Degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, life sciences, or a related technical field

  • Experience in customer-facing roles such as B2B sales or application/technical support

  • Valid driver’s license

  • English proficiency (reading and writing)

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in technical support or field service for laboratory equipment

  • Familiarity with CRM systems

  • English communication skills (spoken)

  • Industry experience in chemical, scientific, or related sectors (manufacturer or distributor side)
