Overview
A global medical device company recognized for innovation in orthopedic technologies, surgical solutions, and physician education is seeking a Senior Product Trainer specializing in Shoulder Arthroplasty.
This role will partner closely with Sales, Marketing, and Medical Education teams to design and deliver advanced training programs that strengthen clinical expertise, procedural knowledge, and sales effectiveness across the commercial organization.
The successful candidate will play a key role in developing high-performing sales professionals and supporting the organization’s continued growth within the orthopedic market.
Key Responsibilities
Training & Education
Design and deliver structured training curricula focused on:
Professional sales development
Clinical product expertise
Surgical and procedural knowledge
Coordinate onboarding and training schedules in collaboration with HR, Marketing, and Medical Education teams
Lead onboarding programs for new hires, particularly experienced orthopedic industry professionals
Conduct training sessions through:
Lectures
Workshops
Role-playing exercises
Field-based coaching
Clinical & Product Training
Deliver education on:
Product knowledge
Competitive positioning
Surgical procedures and clinical applications
Operating room support techniques
Field sales effectiveness
Lead advanced development programs focused on Shoulder Arthroplasty
Support specialist-level education programs to deepen procedural and technical expertise
Facilitate follow-up and progression training for developing sales team members
Market & Industry Engagement
Participate in industry conferences, academic meetings, and educational events
Stay current on:
Market trends
Competitive activity
Emerging surgical techniques
Clinical best practices
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with:
Sales teams

Requirements
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree required
Minimum 5 years of experience in:
Orthopedic medical device sales
Clinical education
Product training
Strong experience within Shoulder Arthroplasty preferred
Skills & Competencies
Strong presentation and facilitation skills
Ability to communicate complex clinical and technical concepts clearly
Experience developing and implementing structured training programs preferred
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
