What the job entails

As Senior Raw Material Planner, you will be responsible for driving timely raw material planning to support sales objectives and production needs. You will create and maintain purchase orders, manage inventory levels, monitor supply execution, and ensure materials are available in the right quantities at the right time. The role sits at the center of cross-functional coordination with commercial, product development, procurement, and supplier teams.

You will confirm purchase order accuracy, maintain SAP data, review demand and supply plans, and identify risks such as stock-outs, slow-moving materials, and obsolescence. You will also work with vendors to expedite deliveries, support new product introductions, monitor supplier performance, and help resolve raw material quality issues. In addition, you will contribute to process improvement and best-practice planning standards.

Key requirements / What we look for
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field

  • 7+ years of experience in inventory management, planning, or supply chain

  • 5+ years of experience in demand forecasting and machine capacity

  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills; SAP or other ERP experience preferred

  • Fluent in English; Japanese preferred
