What the job entails
The Senior Supply Chain Manager will lead the end-to-end supply chain function in Japan, ensuring product availability, inventory health, and service excellence across retail, e-commerce, and wholesale channels. Reporting to the General Manager with a dotted line to regional supply chain leadership, this role will act as the key local owner for demand planning, supply planning, logistics, warehousing, transportation, customs, and inventory control.
A major part of the role is running monthly S&OP cycles, aligning internal stakeholders, and securing supply for key commercial moments such as launches, holidays, store openings, and online peaks. The position also partners closely with retail and e-commerce leaders to support campaign readiness, operational execution, and customer experience. In addition, the role oversees 3PL performance, compliance, quality standards, budget management, and team development while driving efficiency, resilience, and continuous improvement.
Key requirements / What we look for
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, or related field
7–10 years of supply chain experience in luxury, cosmetics, FMCG, or premium retail
Strong background in demand planning, S&OP, inventory management, and logistics
Experience managing 3PLs and multi-channel operations
ERP proficiency, preferably CEGID or SAP, plus advanced Excel/analytics skills
Fluent in Japanese and English
