About the Role
As Manager of Strategic Projects within the Procurement division, you will lead and coordinate high-impact strategic initiatives that drive procurement excellence across the organization. This role requires strong project management capabilities, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. You will play a key role in aligning procurement strategies with broader business goals, ensuring compliance, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management
Lead and manage strategic procurement projects, including regular reporting to steering committees.
Oversee performance metrics, budgets, timelines, and milestones.
Identify and resolve project challenges in collaboration with work package leaders and project stakeholders.
Governance & Reporting
Establish frameworks for project governance and control.
Prepare executive-level reports, dashboards, and decision-making materials.
Organize and facilitate project steering committee meetings.
Manage procurement processes and systems related to strategic projects, supporting buyers in proactive and efficient operations.
Ensure full compliance with procurement processes and systems.
Stakeholder Management
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and align resources across departments.
Act as a key liaison between project teams and senior leadership.
Risk Management
Identify project-related risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Ensure effective execution of risk management plans.
Continuous Improvement
Analyze project outcomes to enhance future strategic project planning.
Promote a culture of accountability, agility, and innovation.
M&A and Synergy Projects
Lead procurement-related workstreams in M&A and carve-out projects.
Manage sub-workstreams across business units to ensure synergy targets are met with actionable plans.
People Development
Support team development through training, coaching, and organizational management.
